Upaya SBI dalam pengelolaan lingkungan, serta penyelesaian isu sosial dan lingkungan dilakukan secara optimal, bertanggung jawab, dan berkelanjutan. Kinerja ini terpampang nyata dari peringkat PROPER tahun 2022 di mana Pabrik Cilacap kembali meraih peringkat Emas untuk ke-7 kalinya dan menjadikan SBI satu-satunya perusahaan di industri semen yang meraih peringkat tertinggi ini. Selain itu, Pabrik Lhoknga, Tuban, dan Narogong berhasil meraih peringkat Hijau.

Informasi Mengenai Pabrik Narogong
Tanggung jawab dan kerja sama tim yang persisten dalam mengelola lingkungan dan sosial membuat Pabrik Narogong mampu mencapai kandidat Emas pada tahun 2022 dan 2023. Hal ini terwujud melalui beberapa program eco-inovasi yang menjadi unggulan, antara lain program penghematan energi dengan monochamber di Cement Mill, penurunan emisi gas rumah kaca dengan perubahan modulus klinker, efisiensi air dengan pembuatan bendungan main outlet, Program 3R Limbah Padat non B3 dengan Program Prepupa Biokonversi sisa makanan, serta program 3R Limbah B3 dengan inovasi modifikasi sistem lubrikasi bearing screw pump.
Pada aspek sosial, Pabrik Narogong mengembangkan sistem Mas Soltan, yaitu reklamasi tambang yang terdiri dari beberapa program terintegrasi untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi dari hulu hingga ke hilir, sekaligus mengubah rantai nilai reklamasi berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat, seperti program cover-crop sereh wangi hingga pembuatan produk turunan atsiri. Dari program inovasi tersebut terbentuklah kelompok-kelompok baru yang berdampak bagi masyarakat.
Keanekaragaman Hayati Pabrik Narogong
PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk Pabrik Narogong mengalokasikan beberapa area sebagai kawasan konservasi perusahaan, seperti area konservasi gua Asem, area konservasi KBAK, dan area tutup tambang pasir kuarsa Cibadak Educational Forest. Area-area ini tidak akan terganggu atau dihilangkan dari rencana operasional penambangan.
Gua Asem memiliki luas sekitar 4.6 hektar, berstruktur horizontal dengan lorong utama sepanjang 50 meter dan lorong cabang. Pemantauan biotis dilakukan untuk menilai status populasi fauna gua dan memprediksi penyebabnya. Reforestasi dilakukan dengan berbagai jenis tanaman, termasuk Mahoni yang masuk kategori Hampir Terancam. Jumlah dan jenis tanaman terus bertambah, seperti terlihat pada grafik indeks diversitas vegetasi. Fauna gua juga menunjukkan tren peningkatan, sesuai dengan grafik yang disajikan.

Our efforts in environmental management, as well as the resolution of social and environmental issues are carried out in efficient, responsible and sustainable manner. They are evident with the 2022 PROPER rating, where Cilacap Plant once again achieved the Gold rating for the 7th time, making SBI the only company in the cement industry to achieve this highest rating. Additionally, the Lhoknga, Tuban, and Narogong Plants successfully obtained the Green rating.

Information about Narogong Plant
Persistent responsibility and teamwork in managing the environment and social aspects have enabled Narogong Plant to achieve the Gold candidate level in 2022. This was realized through several flagship eco-innovation programs, including an energy saving program with a monochamber in the Cement Mill, greenhouse gas emissions reduction with changes in clinker module, water efficiency with the construction of a main outlet dam, non-Hazardous Solid Waste 3R program with the prepupa bioconversion program for food waste, and Hazardous Waste 3R program with the innovative modification of the screw pump bearing lubrication system.
On the social aspect, Narogong Plant has developed the Mas Sultan system, which is a mine reclamation initiative consisting of several integrated programs for economic empowerment from upstream to downstream. This simultaneously transforms the value chain of community-based reclamation, such as the lemongrass cover-crop program for the production of essential oil derivatives. These innovative programs have formed new groups that impact the community.
Biodiversity of Narogong Plant
PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk, Narogong Plant, allocates several areas as company conservation areas, such as the Asem Cave conservation area, the KBAK conservation area, and the closure area for Cibadak Educational Forest quartz sand mining. These areas will not be disturbed or eliminated from the mining operational plans.
Asem Cave covers an area of approximately 4.6 hectares, with a horizontal structure featuring a main passage of 50 meters and branching passages. Biotic monitoring is conducted to assess the cave fauna population status and predict potential causes. Reforestation is carried out with various types of plants, including mahogany which is classified as Near Threatened. The number and types of plants continue to increase, as seen in the vegetation diversity index graph. Cave fauna also shows an increasing trend, as shown in the graphs presented.
