Jakarta, April 14, 2023 - The increase in community activities in Indonesia, especially DKI Jakarta after the revocation of PPKM during the Covid-19 pandemic, signifies the turnover of the economic wheel that began to grow in 2023. To support mobilization and transportation needs every day, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continues to innovate to provide adequate infrastructure, both in the form of new road construction and road repair activities that are in poor condition.
Plt. Head of DKI Jakarta Bina Marga (DBM) Department, Heru Suwondo, explained the 2023 Work Plan which includes roads and bridges, pedestrian paths, street lighting and public facilities, and pedestrian bridges at Bundaran HI, Central Jakarta, Friday (14/4). This activity was also attended by Lilik Unggul Raharjo, President Director of PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI), which is one of the partners in DBM infrastructure development activities in DKI Jakarta Province.
“SBI has created many solutions, one of which is SpeedCrete rapid setting concrete. PT Pendawa Lestari Perkasa (PLP) which is a subsidiary of SBI carried out the repair work of the TransJakarta Corridor 1-14 Bus lane using SpeedCrete which can be ready for use in just 8 hours after the concrete has been applied,” Heru Suwondo explained in his presentation.
Meanwhile, SBI President Director, Lilik Unggul Raharjo said that as part of SIG, SBI continues to develop innovations based on sustainable principles, as a key to providing quality and environmentally friendly solutions. “The SpeedCrete application on the TransJakarta lane is not the first time it has been implemented. The trust from the local government strengthens our commitment to add value to this innovative solution. In addition to the speed of application that helps reduce carbon emissions due to road closure traffic, SpeedCrete also uses environmentally friendly raw materials that have been certified Green Label,” explained Lilik.
PLP was officially appointed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Bina Marga Office to work on the repair of TransJakarta lane infrastructure which includes traffic management, brief closure of repaired road lanes, demolition, disposal of demolition results, casting, to reopening the repaired road. Optimization of local materials and resources with the realization of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) for work with the DKI Provincial Bina Marga Office, namely the SpeedCrete Rapid Setting Concrete Work on Pakin Road Package 1 in 2022 reached a post-audit value by Sucofindo of 67.14%. This is in line with the government's appeal to increase the use of domestic products (P3DN).
Innovative Solution for Fast Drying Concrete
SpeedCrete offers several dry speed levels that can be adjusted to the level of road traffic density in an area, ranging from 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, 10 hours and 12 hours. In addition to the TransJakarta bus lane, SpeedCrete has also been applied in several toll roads such as in the Jabodetabek area, the Bakauheni - Terbanggi toll road, the Surabaya - Mojokerto section and the Surabaya - Gempol section.
