The rapid increase in the world's population today also means increased demand and urbanization that depends on limited natural resources. If this is not accompanied by sustainable development management, it will lead to scarcity and destruction. As a company committed to sustainable development, we all need to play our part.

Why is it needed?

As time goes by, more and more people decide to migrate and try their luck in big cities. A city must be able to accommodate and facilitate the needs of its citizens well, especially in terms of road infrastructure and public facilities.

Climate change is also one of the things that needs to be considered in the development of a city. Extreme climate has the potential to cause shorter building life due to extreme weather and disaster damage. In addition, limited natural resources are also one of the challenges in development.

What is our role?

To contribute to building sustainable resilient cities, in addition to advanced policies and technologies, innovative solutions and strong commitment from all individuals involved are required.

What Have We Done?

Some Projects to Build the Country

Surabaya-Mojokerto Toll Road
The road was repaired using a 12-hour SpeedCrete™ solution with a quick-drying concrete specification that could be used within 12 hours after the finishing stage of the concrete degree.

Sidewalk Area at GBK
ThruCrete, a porous concrete that is widely applied in public areas such as parking lots and sidewalks because it is able to accelerate water absorption into the ground.

GreenZone Facility
A waste management facility at the plant that also utilizes RDF-an innovation used in many municipalities-as a solution to address urban waste issues while encouraging the use of alternative fuels.

Kualanamu International Airport, North Sumatra |
Semen Andalas contributed to the construction of Kualanamu International Airport, the fourth largest international airport in Indonesia.

Manyar Freeport Gresik Smelter, East Java |
Built using DuPro+ MSR in the Java Integrated Industrial Estate (JIIPE) area, Gresik, East Java, with a total area of approximately 100 hectares. Manyar Smelter is PT Freeport Indonesia's second copper concentrate refining and processing facility and is the largest copper refinery in the world.

CPP Java 9-10 Suralaya, Cilegon |
Built using the SprintPro, DuPro, PileCrete, and MarineCrete product families, the Java 9 and 10 (Ultra Selective Catalytic Reduction) power plants located in Suralaya, Cilegon, will be the first hybrid power plants to use green ammonia and green hydrogen in the production process.

With the spirit of collaboration and innovation, let's build resilient cities for a sustainable Indonesia together!
