Circular Economy
Optimization of Energy and Renewable Materials
We innovate in the development of products and services based on the concept of circular economy. This allows us to maintain the economic value of resources for as long as possible to minimize environmental damage and reduce social impact. This is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• SDG 11: Sustainable cities and communities
• SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production
• SDG 13: Climate Change Mitigation
Waste Utilization
For Renewable Energy
SBI contributes to sustainable development by creating comprehensive and effective waste management and pioneering the use of refuse-derived fuel (RDF), an innovation in the large-scale processing of municipal waste into fuel in Indonesia, through the processing of municipal waste in Jakarta and Cilacap. Specifically for hazardous and toxic waste (B3), we process it into alternative fuel in accordance with a permit from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).
