SpeedCrete Expands to Central Java

After successful operations in the Jabodetabek area, our company’s Value Added Solution (VAS) is now broadening its reach to explore new market potential. Following a recent visit to Bandung, SpeedCrete is now making its mark in Central Java.

Central Java, a region experiencing significant development, requires swift road construction to avoid traffic disruptions. Supported by SIG’s distribution network, SBI, through PLP and SBB, ventured into the heart of Java to introduce our rapid-setting concrete solution, SpeedCrete, which offers drying times ranging from 12 hours, 10 hours, 8 hours, 6 hours, to just 4 hours.

Trial Run on Semarang-Godong Road

On December 15–16, 2022, PLP conducted a trial road repair using SpeedCrete on the Semarang- Godong highway. The rapid-setting method with a 12-hour curing time yielded outstanding results. The faster work process helped reduce the risk of traffic congestion, especially in urban areas with heavy traffic.

Sharing Knowledge for Sustainable Development

This trial run in Semarang was preceded by a sharing session held on November 9, 2022, at the Civil Engineering Faculty of Diponegoro University. This event was a continuation of the “Membangun Negeri Menjaga Kehidupan” seminar hosted by the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Central Java.

During this session, SBI shared insights on cement innovation, the benefits of SpeedCrete, and environmentally friendly cement products (non-OPC cement). The event was attended by several academic experts from Diponegoro University.

Expanding Market Reach and Vision

According to Tony Febrianto, Key Account Consultant, “This market expansion aligns with one of ACM’s key objectives—to become a leading road solutions provider in Indonesia.”

By providing innovative, rapid, and sustainable solutions, SpeedCrete is poised to significantly contribute to the region’s infrastructure development, ensuring faster construction times and minimal disruption to local communities.
