Jakarta, June 25, 2025 – PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI), a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) for the 2024 fiscal year on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. One of the meeting's decisions was to set the 2024 net profit at Rp745 billion and distribute dividends of 50% of the net profit, amounting to Rp372.5 billion, or Rp41.30 per share, an increase of 38.8% from 2023.
The Company's President Director, Asri Mukhtar, said that the dividend increase was inseparable from the company's efforts to maintain profitability amid challenging market conditions throughout 2024. "Solusi Bangun Indonesia was able to maintain positive performance through efficiency efforts, innovation, and strengthening synergies with SIG as its parent company. We continue to move forward optimistically towards a resilient and sustainable green industry," said Asri Mukhtar, President Director of the Company.
Other Meeting Decisions
In addition to approving the dividend distribution, the Meeting also approved the Company's Annual Report and ratified the Company's Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.
Another decision was the appointment of Liana Ramon Xenia & Partners Public Accounting Firm (part of the Deloitte network) as the Company's independent auditor for the 2025 fiscal year.
In addition to approving the delegation of authority to the Board of Commissioners to determine the bonus for the 2024 fiscal year and remuneration for the 2025 fiscal year for the Board of Directors, the Meeting also approved the determination of the bonus for the 2024 fiscal year and remuneration for the Board of Commissioners for the 2025 fiscal year.
Face Industry Challenges, Strengthen Efficiency and Sustainable Innovation
Until the first quarter of 2025, the national cement industry will still face heavy pressure due to conditions market overcapacity, the number of holidays, high rainfall, weak purchasing power, and shifts in consumer spending priorities. Domestic cement market demand during this period contracted by 7.4% compared to the same period last year. These pressures also affected the Company's financial performance at the beginning of this year.
Facing these dynamics, the Company continues to strengthen its resilience by implementing efficiency programs across various lines, improving financial structure management, and innovating not only in operations but also in solutions that address various customer development needs.
Until mid-2025, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk continues to make a tangible contribution to national development by supplying ready-mix concrete for various large-scale and strategic projects. The company supplies building materials for the construction of the large-scale Summarecon Crown Gading integrated residential area in Bekasi, West Java, as well as the Kalibaru pier construction project in North Jakarta, which is part of strengthening national logistics infrastructure.
In other sectors, Solusi Bangun Indonesia also supports the development of public spaces and sustainable projects with innovative concrete solutions. Porous concrete (ThruCrete) and decorative concrete (DekoCrete) solutions are used in the design of Taman Suroboyo and the Rorotan Green Open Space, which prioritize environmentally friendly concepts and urban aesthetics. In terms of sustainability, Solusi Bangun Indonesia, through its environmentally friendly waste management division, Nathabumi, is expanding the utilization of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) as an alternative fuel at the Cilacap, Narogong, and Tuban plants, in collaboration with 18 local governments. This effort not only reduces dependence on fossil fuels, but also contributes to solving urban waste problems. Additionally, Nathabumi is collaborating with the Gotbag Indonesia Foundation in utilizing plastic waste on the northern coast of Java as part of its efforts to support marine conservation in a tangible way.
