Jakarta, June 25, 2025 – PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI), a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS/Meeting) for the 2024 fiscal year on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. One of the resolutions of the meeting was the determination of a net profit of IDR 745 billion for 2024 and the distribution of 50% of the net profit as dividends, amounting to IDR 372.5 billion, or IDR 41.30 per share—an increase of 38.8% compared to 2023.
The company’s President Director, Asri Mukhtar, stated that the increase in dividends reflects the company’s efforts to maintain profitability despite a challenging market in 2024.
“Solusi Bangun Indonesia managed to maintain strong performance through efficiency efforts, innovation, and strengthened synergy with SIG as the parent company. We are moving forward optimistically toward a resilient and sustainable green industry,” said Asri Mukhtar.
Other Meeting Resolutions
In addition to approving the dividend distribution, the Meeting also approved the Company’s Annual Report and ratified the Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.
Another decision was the appointment of Public Accounting Firm Liana Ramon Xenia and Partners (part of the Deloitte network) as the Company’s independent auditor for the 2025 fiscal year.
The Meeting also approved the delegation of authority to the Board of Commissioners to determine the 2024 fiscal year’s bonuses (tantiem) and 2025 remuneration for the Board of Directors. Additionally, the tantiem for 2024 and remuneration for the Board of Commissioners for 2025 were approved.
Facing Industry Challenges with Enhanced Efficiency and Sustainable Innovation
As of Q1 2025, the national cement industry continues to face significant pressure due to market overcapacity, numerous public holidays, high rainfall, weakened purchasing power, and shifting consumer spending priorities. Domestic cement demand contracted by 7.4% compared to the same period last year. These pressures also affected the Company’s financial performance in early 2025.
To navigate these dynamics, the Company is strengthening its resilience by implementing efficiency programs across various operations, optimizing financial structures, and innovating not only in operations but also in customer-focused construction solutions.
By mid-2025, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk continues to contribute significantly to national development by supplying ready-mix concrete for various large-scale and strategic projects. The company is supplying building materials for the construction of the large-scale integrated residential area Summarecon Crown Gading in Bekasi, West Java, as well as the Kalibaru Pier project in North Jakarta, which is part of national logistics infrastructure development.
In other sectors, Solusi Bangun Indonesia also supports the development of public spaces and sustainable projects with innovative concrete solutions. Porous concrete (ThruCrete) and decorative concrete (DekoCrete) were used for the revitalization of Taman Suroboyo and the Green Open Space of Rorotan Public Cemetery (TPU), emphasizing eco-friendly and aesthetic urban design. The Company also continues collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Highways Department (Dinas Bina Marga) for road improvement projects using high-quality rapid-setting concrete for faster and more efficient construction.
On the digital innovation front, the Company introduced DynaPay, a digital payment solution that facilitates easier, more efficient, secure, and convenient transactions for Dynamix Concrete purchases. DynaPay has received international recognition with two prestigious awards at The Asset Triple A Awards 2025 in Hong Kong: Best Payment and Collection Solutions and Best Treasury Team of The Year. These awards recognize corporate excellence in finance, investment, and treasury across Asia and reflect credibility and global industry leadership, evaluated through a comprehensive judging process including client feedback as a key metric.
In terms of sustainability, Solusi Bangun Indonesia, through its eco-friendly waste management division Nathabumi, expanded the use of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) as an alternative fuel at its plants in Cilacap, Narogong, and Tuban in cooperation with 18 regional governments. This effort not only reduces reliance on fossil fuels but also helps address urban waste issues. In addition, Nathabumi has partnered with Got Bag Indonesia Foundation to process coastal plastic waste from the northern coast of Java, supporting real marine environmental conservation efforts.
“We realize that resilience amid industrial pressure can only be achieved through innovation and sustainability. Our efficiency initiatives not only strengthen corporate performance but also create positive environmental impact and deliver added value to our stakeholders,” said Asri Mukhtar, President Director of PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk.
