President Jokowi and Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono visited a refuse-derived fuel (RDF) processing facility in Jeruklegi District, Cilacap Regency, on January 2, 2024. After observing the urban waste management process up close, from shredding to sifting, Jokowi expressed his appreciation.
Fasilitas pertama di Indonesia ini, mampu mengolah sampah 150 ton per hari dan menghasilkan RDF sebagai produk pengganti bahan bakar fosil hingga 60 ton per hari untuk digunakan di pabrik semen Solusi Bangun Indonesia di Cilacap.
