Jakarta, 9 January 2025 – Wasting no time in kicking off the new year, PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SBI), through its subsidiary PT Solusi Bangun Beton, has officially expanded its delivery fleet by adding 20 regular trucks and 24 mini trucks to support the increasing demand for ready-mix concrete across Jakarta, Banten, and surrounding areas. The 44 new trucks were officially received by PT Solusi Bangun Beton Director, Giri Prabowo, at the SBI Narogong Plant in Bogor, West Java on 8 January 2025.
Giri Prabowo stated that the fleet expansion is part of the company’s strategy to optimize its service capabilities across large-scale construction projects as well as residential and retail needs.
“We currently operate more than 30 ready-mix concrete plants across Java. This fleet expansion is a strategic step to broaden our service coverage and introduce our environmentally friendly concrete to a wider range of regions and customers,” said Giri Prabowo.
SBI’s ready-mix concrete is a derivative product of its green cement, marketed under the Dynamix brand. Backed by supply from three cement plants across Java, SBI is well-positioned to meet growing demand for low-carbon, environmentally conscious concrete products.
According to projections by research firm BCI, Indonesia’s construction market is expected to see steady growth in 2025, particularly in the building sector, despite anticipated budget constraints in civil construction. Total construction project value in 2025 is forecasted to grow by 5.48% compared to 2024, with the housing and industrial sectors expected to be the primary growth drivers.
As a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), SBI has supplied ready-mix concrete to numerous key infrastructure and commercial projects, including the Lotte Chemical Indonesia Industrial Estate, Cainiao Cikarang Logistics Park, TransJakarta lane upgrades, Jakarta–Merak toll road expansion, Cipali toll road, Serang Barat–Cilegon Timur toll road, and the Kataraja toll road (Kamal–Teluk Naga–Rajeg–Balaraja).
