Aceh (01/26/13) – PT Solusi Bangun Andalas (“Solusi Bangun Andalas/the Company”) continues its commitment to assist the people of Aceh in the aftermath of floods and landslides. Together with the Semen Andalas Workers Union (SPSA) and PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) as the parent company, the Company deployed heavy equipment and cleaning supplies to help accelerate the cleanup and recovery of areas affected by flooding.
General Manager of Solusi Bangun Andalas, R. Adi Santosa, said that the recovery phase is no less crucial in restoring people's lives back to normal. “We support the government's recovery efforts, which began with cleaning up the affected areas so that recovery and reconstruction activities can continue immediately,” said Adi Santosa.
Following emergency relief efforts at the end of 2025, Solusi Bangun Andalas continued to support recovery activities by deploying trucks and loaders to clean up mud in Pidie Jaya Regency. SIG, as the parent company, also participated directly by providing cement to the affected areas in Aceh Tamiang Regency. Additionally, daily necessities such as clothing, food, blankets, towels, and clean water supplies for affected residents in Aceh Utara Regency were also distributed again through the participation of employees.
Post-disaster management, which was hampered by access and mobility issues, requires not only time for physical recovery, but also addressing health impacts and supporting activities such as education. In addition to basic needs and cleanup efforts, the concern of Semen Andalas employees was also demonstrated through the provision of health services and trauma healing programs for the community of Dayah Kruet Village, as well as the distribution of learning equipment for students at SDIT Ceudah Rabbani, Pidie Jaya, to support the continuity of the teaching and learning process for the younger generation in the affected areas.
SPSA Chairman Syukurullah Jalil said that all of these actions were a manifestation of the collective concern of the workers. “This is our concern for our fellow human beings, from us and for us. All Semen Andalas workers want to help the community resume their activities, worship, and live a more dignified life,” he said.
Through synergy between companies, SPSA, and local governments, Solusi Bangun Andalas remains committed to being part of the joint effort to restore Aceh after the disaster.
